Your adventure begins in Pucón, a small city located right next  to lake Villarrica and at the foot of the live Volcano Villarrica and in the vicinity of three parks and a large ski resort. 

Recommended lodging:
You haven't been to Pucon unless you have stayed at the Antumalal.  It's a  beautiful hotel situated on a hillside overlooking 14 acres of trees,  garden and  the beautiful  Lake Villarrica.  Everyone should stay here for at least a day and night. Landhaus is an excellent farm-stay place and the food at their restaurant
is first class and very delicious.
For those who prefer the ultimate in luxury, the 5 star Villarrica Park lake Hotel comes highly recommended.

Outdoor activities:
With two National and one private park in its vicinity, Pucon is a great starting point for a wide range of activities and adventures.
Ski Info :The top lift served elevation is 2080 meters. The base elevation is 1200 meters. Trails serve all ability levels, and skiers and snowboarders may choose from many off-piste runs. Villarrica-Pucon has 9 lifts.
